The information provided on this website should not be taken as medical advice. We are not doctors, nutritionists, or health specialists. We’re merely two people chronicling our weight loss journey. Please consult a doctor before starting any new diet or exercise regimens.
The authors of this website are using this platform to showcase a lifestyle and are not responsible for any errors or omissions in content (we can’t possibly know everything – particularly about your own dietary needs).
We are following a strict, “Low Carb, High Fat” (LCHF) diet developed by scientists. We understand that your doctor may advise against this way of eating – some do due to a misunderstanding of nutrition, while others are against it because you may have an underlying health concern that they believe this way of eating would only agitate.
LCHF is a widely used way of eating by women with polycystic ovarian syndrome (Kimi has it), diabetics, and persons classified as “morbidly obese”. It’s been proven to lower blood sugar and cholesterol, aid in appetite suppression, and when used in a calorie deficit diet it will help you lose weight.
To find out more, or share your successes, please check out our Facebook group with lots of information for getting started with our way of eating.
