Everyday Tools

Food Kitchen Scale

Weighing your food is an important step in tracking your macros before you consume anything. A food scale in your kitchen is a must have!

Cheese Shredder

Pre-shredded cheese contains starches to prevent clumping. It’s best to shred your cheese yourself and store it in a container until ready to use.

Meal Prep Containers

Prepping food ahead of time and breaking your meals down into grab ‘n go containers takes out a lot of the fussy work you’ll want to avoid when hungry.

Drink Mixer Bottle

A mixer bottle will come in handy for prepping protein shakes, bouillon broth, or sugar-free flavored drinks so you can stay hydrated and get the protein you need.

Sugar Free Ingredients

G Hughes BBQ Sauce

Literally the best BBQ sauce for low carbers – you’ll love it on chicken, meatballs, and even veggies. It adds a lot of love to what otherwise seems like boring food.

Walden Farms Syrup

We tried them all, we promise. This is the syrup you’ll want when you decide to indulge in some low carb pancakes. It’s the most authentic, sugar free syrup.

Hibiscus Tea

Not only is this tea delicious… it’s also caffeine free and naturally helps lower your blood pressure. Sprinkle in your favorite approved sweetener and enjoy!

Rao's Marinara

The only keto friendly marinara sauce out there as far as we’re concerned. No weird after taste – you’ll forget it’s sugar free. It’s amazing on chicken!

Approved Sweeteners

Liquid Stevia

This is our top favorite for drinks. Squeeze a little into your morning coffee or tea and thank us later. It’s so much better than the powdered version for drinks!

Powdered Stevia

This sugar replacement is 2x the sweetness of sugar and offers the same versatility without added calories or carbohydrates. And there’s no weird aftertaste!

Erythritol

This works great in foods and doesn’t leave that sort of weird aftertaste. It’s fantastic for your baked goods or low carb pancakes. It’s about as 70% as sweet as sugar.

Xylitol

Another fantastic sweetener option that won’t spike your blood sugars. Love it for sauces. Just keep it away from pets because it’s highly toxic to animals.

Suggested Supplements

Magnesium Malate

Supports energy production, healthy metabolism and promotes healthy nervous function. It’s one of the essential minerals that your body requires to work at its best by helping your body absorb the calcium it needs.

Premier Protein Shake

Sometimes you’re on the go and you gotta get something in your tummy. We tried lots of pre-mixed protein shakes, and this one tastes the best. Plus, it has the best macros and most protein per serving. Chocolate is our fave.

Sodium Chloride

When in a state of ketosis, your kidneys will dump salt. You may find that in order to stay hydrated and avoid “keto flu” that you need to supplement by adding salt back into your body, and these can be helpful.

Bouillon

We love getting our sodium needs satiated during colder months with a hot cup of chicken broth – quickly made with a bit of this chicken bouillon paste. Stir it into some hot water and drink up to kick “keto flu”.
