Our Favorite Keto Kitchen Gadgets
We found ourselves cooking a lot more often because so much of the food we consume is fresh, and not processed. It’s a lifestyle change to say the least, and it can be sort of discouraging if you’re not accustomed to spending so much time preparing and having to cook your food.
That’s why these gadgets are must have for your low carb kitchen. They save you time (and dare we say… a lot of energy and sanity as well).

Instant Pot Pro 10-in-1 Pressure Cooker
This was the first must have kitchen gadget we thought of because it’s been such a staple in our kitchen since going low carb. Instant Pots do it all – juicy and tender roasts, bone broth (gotta get them electrolytes!), and even stuff you may not expect like baked goods and hard-boiled eggs (a personal favorite of ours).
But why this particular model when there’s so many Instant Pots available? We like the 10 quart size for sake of meal prepping (especially if you’ve gotta do this family style). But the big deal for us are the programmable “Favorites” settings. Anything that can save us time and sanity gets a big thumbs up honestly, and we like not having to remember settings.

The Instant Pot is a keto kitchen staple, but this particular model gives us the feels. You can program your favorite settings, so you don't have to remember what you did that one time you liked how your chicken turned out.
Oil Misting Sprayer for Cooking
Keto requires you to incorporate healthy fats into your diet, and one of the ways we do that is by utilizing oils that are approved for cooking. But it can be easy to have a heavy hand, and personally we rather get our necessary fats in more fun ways.
We love using our favorite oils in a mist sprayer so we don’t waste it (some types of oils we like to use can get kind of expensive when you’re cooking more often), and so we’re getting even sprays – rather than trying to pour it into a pan.

This is one of those things you don't think you need, but owning one will change your mind. Misting your oil means fewer calories - so you get to incorporate healthy fats in other, more fun ways.
Programmable Kitchen Food Scale
A food scale is an essential keto kitchen tool. We need to weigh and track all of the food we prepare and consume for sake of accurate macros, and this particular scale is a favorite of ours.
We really like programmable stuff, and not only does this have the nutrition facts for 2,000 foods… you can add up to 99 more custom entries!

View nutrition facts for 2,000 foods in the scale’s built-in database, and create up to 99 more custom entries. Measure individual ingredients, track full meals, and calculate daily totals on the easy-to-read backlit screen. Scale shuts off and calibrates automatically.
We really, really encourage you to buy a food scale for your kitchen. If this one doesn’t seem like the perfect fit, check out our list of The Best Food Scales For Keto Diets and choose one that’s best suited for you.
Manual Cheese Shredder
Store bought, pre-shredded cheese contains starches that prevent the shredded cheese from sticking to itself inside of the bag. That’s why it has that sort of almost gritty sort of texture to it. These starches are a keto no-no, and it’s important that you are buying block cheese and shredding it yourself.
We got tired of pulling down yet another heavy duty kitchen appliance, and wanted an electricity-free cheese grater option that was easier to clean and more practical. We landed on this one (not gonna lie… we were skeptical) and turns out we quite like it.

The rotary mandolin slicer is great for cheese, vegetables, garlic, nuts, and more. It performs the tasks of multiple kitchen tools in one, this hand cheese grater takes up a little cupboard and bench space. The hand crank nut grinder is easy to be disassembles for easy clean. You can just clean it under the running water.
Mini Keto Waffle Maker
We personally prefer strict keto, and that means making our own bread substitutes so that we can control the ingredients. We love making keto approved waffles (and chaffles!), and this mini waffle maker is the perfect size.
We wanted one that could make 4 mini waffles at a time because it’s a big time saver when making keto sandwiches for 2 people. Plus… it cooks evenly, and it’s easy to clean.

We love a good low carb waffle as a bread substitute, and this waffle maker makes 4 perfectly sized mini waffles (or chaffles if that's your thing!). The dual nonstick 4 inch surfaces provide even cooking, and make it easy to clean!
Air Fryer
We live in the South and we understand the love of fried foods and we miss them dearly. Fortunately, an air fryer can give you that bit of nostalgia back.
We originally had the type of air fryer you may have seen before – the type that has a basket for you to dump food in. This worked great and we never had any complaints about it. That said, when we discovered this one… yeah we kind of realized how much more versatile it was and that we were really missing out on something big.

Unlike the air fryers you've likely seen before, this is an air fryer and oven that you can use in a variety of ways - including to air fry your favorite keto foods, and to roast, bake, broil, or reheat your food... without adding oil.
Silicone Baking Mat
We love investing in kitchen tools that ultimately save us money, and when you buy a silicone baking mat, you do exactly that. No more money spent on parchment paper for your cheese crisps, or aluminum foil to protect your baking sheet.
The silicone material can withstand temperatures of up to 480°F and it’s non-stick so you don’t need extra oil or cooking sprays.

Perfect for easy clean up and protecting your baking sheets from cooked on foods (and saving you lots of money since you don't need to buy aluminum foil anymore).
